About Thomasmann

Tomislav Dimitrovski – contemporary artist from Skopje

Tomislav Dimitrovski (Tomasmann) was born on December 8, 1974, in Štip, North Macedonia, and now lives in Skopje. As a visual artist, he has developed a distinctive artistic style in recent years, characterized by expressiveness, emotional depth, and a unique visual language.

Before dedicating himself entirely to painting, Tomislav Dimitrovski worked for many years in the design and manufacture of high-quality men's outerwear. This creative experience profoundly shaped his sense of form, structure, composition, and aesthetics, and continues to form an important foundation of his artistic work.

His works arise from a deep personal exploration of life, its challenges, and the inner strength of humankind. In his paintings, he combines emotion, symbolism, and free forms of expression into a visual language that invites the viewer to discover their own thoughts and feelings.

Within just a few years, Tomasmann developed a distinctive style that combines expressionist elements, modern compositions, and personal symbolism. His works oscillate between strength and vulnerability, hope and memory, freedom and inner strength.

His striking depictions of people and lions are particularly characteristic. While the human figures convey emotional depth and individual stories, the lions symbolize courage, dignity, the will to survive, and inner strength – values that run like a common thread through his entire oeuvre.

His works have been presented in several exhibitions and are now part of private collections. With each new work, Tomasmann aims not only to create images, but also to foster a dialogue between the artwork and the viewer.

Today he lives and works in his studio in Skopje, where he continuously develops his artistic vision and seeks new ways to transform emotions, experiences and thoughts into timeless art.

His works are now marketed in almost all of Europe. Even in Germany, his art can be found.
